Today was the first day of poop! He had a pool of dirty stuff in his diaper this morning. Looks like the pipes are beginning to work. Not fully though. He was distended, so the doctors irrigated him and got out some gas and watery stool. While not his favorite activity, Eli tolerated it well. He only told the doctor "Stop it!" a few times. And believe it or not, he says it rather politely. That episode pretty much sums up his disposition, uncomfortable but sweet. He sleeps and watches TV a lot. He has discovered a new love, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and the spongesicle (a moist sponge on a stick. Yum) . More later.

SO SO happy for you all that things are going well so far. We have all been thinking of sweet Eli! Tell him we all know how brave and sweet he is being!

I just got so teary eyed reading what you wrote. I just HATE, HATE, HATE that you all have had to go through this. I love you all sooooo much.... Look up to you sooooo much and I just can't wait til it's all over. Tell Eli that Tiffany, "Dardo" and Caden say hi. We are praying hard!!! If you need ANYTHING please let me know!!! My shoulder is always available to lean on!! Love you!!!
